About Insurance Add ons…

Insurance Add Ons is a trading division of Next of Kin Ltd. The organisation was founded in 1999 with a unique concept in tracing family members quickly in an accident or emergency situation. In 2000, recognition by ACPO - The Association of Chief Police Officers - was gained and the service was launched nationally. An effective 24/7 emergency operator contact service that makes it far quicker & easier for the police to trace the next of kin. Simple!

In 2003/4 the company was associated with Pinnacle Insurance plc and in 2005 it became independent and reformed as Next of Kin Ltd to provide a broader range of products and services.

The core trading platform is in the retail sector via pharmacies, supermarkets and mail order with over 3500 outlets UK wide.

Also, since 2007, some of the big names in Insurance such as Royal Sun Alliance, AXA, & Europ Assistance have re-sold or built in some of Next of Kin’s products. Many brokers had made requests to be able to resell some of the products independently, hence Insurance Add Ons being formed & launched in 2009, following an initial pilot phase.
